About the trekking
This tour lasts all day. We depart early from the city of La Paz, taking a vehicle to the start of the Copacabana Mine Valley.
The ascent is gradual and comfortable, taking about three hours. The descent follows a pre-Columbian trail that leads to the village of Chucura.
From there, we return to the city of La Paz, arriving in the late afternoon (6-7 pm).
Itinerary
- Departure from the hotel in La Paz at 7:00 AM.
- Arrival at the start point of the hike (9:00 AM).
- Gradual ascent towards Copacabana Mine, then gradual descent toward the community of Chucura.
- Return to La Paz, late afternoon (6:00-7:00 PM).
