Hi, I’m Ramiro Gumiel. Throughout my career, I have honed exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. As an Operations Coordinator and Project Management Professional, I consistently delivered measurable results.
I am currently channeling my extensive experience to establish a specialized tourism agency dedicated to offering unparalleled trekking adventures in Bolivia. My focus is on organizing immersive, expertly guided expeditions along ancient pre-Columbian trails.
My mission is to inspire adventurers from around the world by connecting them with the hidden heritage of Bolivia’s pre-Columbian paths. By combining exhilarating adventure with profound, authentic historical and cultural encounters, I offer international explorers more than just a hike: I offer them a transformative journey.

With over 30 years of experience in the tourism industry, Juan Carlos is a passionate advocate for Bolivia’s rich cultural heritage and breathtaking landscapes. His passion for nature began early as porter and soon later, as a distinguished expert guide for several renowned tour operators in La Paz. Juan Carlos possesses unparalleled knowledge of Bolivia’s diverse hiking trails, from ancient pre-Columbian paths to hidden trails leading to remote rural communities.
His extensive experience allows Juan Carlos to offer adventurers a unique perspective on the physical challenges and cultural significance of each trek. He specializes in exploring less-traveled routes that reveal historical wonders and stunning scenery, setting Andes Heritage Expeditions apart from traditional trekking companies.
